• Strengthen Blocked members into a hard privacy wall, not only a messaging restriction:
  • a blocked member must not be able to send direct messages or friend requests;
  • for the blocked member, the blocker should effectively not exist anywhere on CookieMonsters;
  • do not show the blocker in Members, search, online/offline presence, profile discovery, friend suggestions or community member lists shown to that blocked member;
  • the blocked member must not be able to open or view the blocker's profile;
  • hide the blocker's forum posts/replies, comments, screenshots/images, likes/reactions, activity, game data and other member-created content from the blocked member;
  • the blocked member must not receive links, notifications, mentions or recommendations that reveal the blocker's activity/content;
  • enforce the block relationship server-side on every relevant API/media request, not only by filtering cards in the frontend;
  • direct URLs to the blocker's profile or protected content must fail for the blocked member rather than bypassing the block;
  • when both users are members of the same community/forum, preserve moderation/admin requirements while still hiding normal member-facing content wherever possible;
  • unblocking should restore normal discovery/access according to the underlying privacy permissions.
